✦ Synopsis
We have observed a temperature dependence of the phase memory time TM in the lowest triplet state of the pair of two translationally equivalent naphthalene-lzg guest molecules in a naphthalenoda host crustal in zero magnetic field. From this experiment we obtain the energy separation between the two Davydov components. Further we can make an estimate of the lifetime of the upper state which appears to be two orders of magnitude longer than the corresponding one in the translationally inequivalent pair.
