✦ Synopsis


A new molecular species has been detected by passing HBr k 14N'2C8 s through dry AgNCSe. which is shown b the rotational constants of the four isotopic species H Se, H'4N'2C78Se, H'4N'3C80Se and D' x consideration of N12C8'Se to be HNCSe. lSe spectrum is consistent with that of a quasilinear molecule. A prelhninary structure has been determined having r(H-N) = 0.99 A, rfN=C) = 1.195 A,rK=Se) = 1.717 A and a mean B-N-C angle of 143". The qnadrupole interaction parameter eQ4 = 1.17 MHz and the dipole moment component pa = 1.98 D have also been determined.
