โฆ Synopsis
The melting line of carbon dioxide has been measured up to 2800 atm according to the method of the blocked capillary. A cryostat and temperature regulating system are described which allowed the temperature to Be controlled within 0.0003 ยฐ. The semi-experimental formula of S i m o n and G 1 a t ~. e 1 fits the experiments within 1.2 5 atm.
