Experiments

are presenled on microwave-induced optical nuclear polarization (MIONP) usin g the phoroexci1cd triple1 smws in a crystal of lhorene doped with phenanthrene. The effccls of modulation of the magnelic field and the microwave frequency on [he dynamic nuclear polarizalion rake were studied. The results show thal MIONP must bc described in this case by the solid effect rheory taking into accoum the burning of holes in lhe inhomogeneously broadened ESR line.
