Evidence has been presented in this study that binder thermal degradation is rate limiting at low pressures (2-7 MPa) in HTPB/AP propellant combustion when catalyzed by copper chromite, Cr(Salen-N-decyl)3, and copper phthalocyanine. The condensed phase chemistry governing binder degradation is proba
