β¦ Synopsis
With a considerable fortune and owner of one of the finest estates in the country, Fitzwilliam Darcy is one of the most sought after single men in England. However, Darcy is in no hurry to wed and is determined to thwart all attempts to find him a suitable bride.
Elizabeth Bennet's one wish is to follow in the footsteps of her older sister: fall in love and marry the man of her choice. But a sudden change in circumstances finds Elizabeth living among the ton and expected to accept any man who proposes.
When Darcy and Elizabeth meet, an initial attraction is soon replaced with mutual feelings of resentment, and a single act of folly forces them to consider a future together, which neither of them wants.
With wild accusations and family interference, their relationship is soon torn apart. What will it take for them to overcome their suspicions and pride and finally admit their love for each other?
