DRB1 and HLA-DQB1 was observed in infertile women possessing the spermimmobilizing antibodies in their sera.

As regards male infertility, Fas ligand, expressed on the surface of Sertoli cells, is implicated in preventing activated lymphocytes from infiltrating the testis: breakdown in this immune privilege may lead to infertility. Other discussion will focus on the role of intercellular adhesion molecule I (ICAM-1) and leukocyte function-associated molecule I (LFA-1) in autoimmune orchitis.
