✦ Synopsis
Observations of the longitudinal magnetic field of several prominences were made with the D3, Ha, and Hfl lines. There is no significant difference in the magnetic field measured with the helium and hydrogen lines. The possibility of a true difference in the fields on a ffcale much finer than that of our observations is not excluded.
