โฆ Synopsis
The setting is in New York City of the early 90's. The story is of Trevor Morrow's: a sharp, intuitive private detective who finds himself embroiled in the apparent murder of his former lover.
The Loss of Love and Truth is a glimpse of the life of a gay black man whose seemingly brilliant career on the NYPD force ends abruptly following years of homophobic taunts and humiliation from senior and fellow officers. With the desire to protect his father's reputation; Trevor steps out on his own to focus his detective talents in not only helping others when the police couldn't or wouldn't but save his own bacon from being set up.
Struggling with alcoholism; Trevor would soon discover that personal betrayal would be the least of his problems as the story escalates with accusations of the integral part he supposedly played in not only the murder of his ex but of criminal corruption within the NYPD.
The Loss of Love and Truth is a gripping action based mystery drama that features comedic highlights to entertain and introduce you to a world where being black, gay and male breaks stereotypes.
