โฆ Synopsis
The neutron density in a non-capturing medium surrounding an imperfectly absorbing, non-scattering cylinder is calculated by the spherical harmonics method in the P,-approximation. The linear extrapolation length of the asymptotic neutron density is then deduced from this for various absorbing powers of the cylinder.
