✦ Synopsis
The decay constant, X, of '%u in a copper pht~ocya~n~ is changed by A,Xjh = (IO + 1.6j X 1K4 when the electron cspture decay rate in the hbelled crystal is compared to that of samples in which the 64Cu activity was im traduced by neutrozl irradiation. it is shown that the (n, 7) generated recoil copper is probably lattice stabilized in the atomic state.
