The LIF spectra of (9-anthryl)dimethylaniline (ADMA) were obtained in a jet-cooled condition. The O-O band appears as a train of complex peaks ranging from 370 to 380 nm with decreasing intensity towards longer wavelength. The analysis of these peaks reveals that the equilibrium angle between the anthracene and the benzene planes only slightly deviates from 90' in the ground state, whereas in the St state the angle is about 60".
