β¦ Synopsis
Charles opened his shirt coilar, and Captain Nugent peered closely at the strange shaped scar. βWell, lad, thatβs quite a thing, isnβt it!β And so the tale of the leopardβs tooth beganβ¦
It began to be legend because it was a tale from the land of Kotzwinkle in which: Young Charles Pickett joins what appears to he an ordinary anthropological expeition in early 19th-century Africa. As the dig progresses, Charles feels a strange, feline force calling him toward the jungle. This force will explode in an awesome, other-worldly encounter between his uncle and the bizarre witch doctor Tambo.
Charles must conquer the evil powers and save the expedition, only to find life changed forever as revealed in the scar.
With twenty illustrations by Joe Servello
