✦ Synopsis

The roatlon kmctics of NH* with propylcnc is studied by ilab pbotolysis in tbc temperature range 300-500 K. The Nil* radicals drc dctcctcd by re$ondncc absorption, using B cw sin& mode dyu laser. This method allows the dctcction of very ~lall radxal concentrations in a wide rnrqe of cxper!mcntal conditions. Tbc rcnction of NIIZ with propylcnc is fairly slow and scum: to correspond to tbc ad&ion process. The Arrbenius cxprcssion obtamcd ir (I? in kcnl/mole): k(NIIz + C311d -2.9 x lo8 cxp[-4.3(* 0.2)/HT] hl-'s-r.
