"l=ne non-linear kinetic equation describing the evolution of the orientational stru~m'al of nematic Hquid crystals is investigated. The equih'brium structares are described and their stability and the behaviour of the solutions for long times are investigated. The super-slow evolution (for example, in a very intense magnetic field) of the irregular structure to a regular stable structure is described.
