✦ Synopsis
The first Japan-France Joint Seminar was held at Aichi Trade Center in Nagoya under the auspices of the Japan-France Cooperative Science Program administered by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and by Centre National de la Recherches Scientifiques (CNRS). T. Noda and X. Duval acted as organizers for their respective countries, and M. Inagaki as a secretary of the seminar. The selec:ed IO Japanese and 5 French participants took part in the seminar both by presenting talks and by discussing. Some Japanese observers were also invited to take part in the seminar and some of them were asked to report on their current researches.
