7 NTROD OCTZON This probleni was undertaken to clear up the question on thc relationship of the alimentary canal and reproductive ducts of primitive moths. These were left in doubt bp Philpott and Richards. Yucca moths were selected for this work, because they are the only common species of Iiiourvarioidea in this region.
