We report a study of fhe intenction between carbon monoxide snd mcttic (monolayer) potassium on RufOOl). This system is chsracrerized by simultaneous "autocatalytic" desorprion of CO and K at 680 K and vibnrional C-O s-xctch irequencies of 1350 and 1490 cm-' .The results suzest direct attractive int
