## Abstract The roles of tumor necrosis factor (TNFΞ±) and reactive nitrogen intermediates (RNI) as effectors of macrophagemediated tumor cell killing were investigated in a variety of tumor cell lines. Three TNFα‐sensitive tumor targets were also susceptible to resting bone‐marrow‐derived mononucle
