✦ Synopsis

Setting up evaluative studies in relation to Logo is not an easy task. In this research project, the author adopted a longterm innovation strategy, in order to take into account as many variables of the educational classroom setting as possible. After a description of some preliminary--especially system-theoretical-observations, influencing this strategy, a brief outline of the research project is given. The core of the project is a Logo resource package, developed in relation to the existing mathematics curriculum of the primary school. Since, in addition to mathematical objectives, objectives in relation to problem solving are built into this package, empirical developmental models for planning behavior are described. In relation to the evaluative part of the project especially, details about the test in the quantitative study are given.
