โฆ Synopsis
In this study, the instant-direct-templating method was used to prepare phenyl-functionalized HOM-type materials. The synthetic procedure was as follows: 1 g of P123 (for HOM-2) or 1.4 g of P123 (for HOM-5) and 2 g of TEOS dissolved in a flask with stirring at 50 8C for 1-2 min, thus yielding a clear solution (homogenous), 1 g of HCl (aq., pH 1.3) was then quickly added to this mixed solution, followed by the addition 0.40 g of PTMS 10 min later, then stirring for another 10 min, after the reaction was complete, the transparent glassy monoliths were collected and dried at 50 8C
