The initial sputter erosion of Cu/Ni(1 0 0) has been simulated using molecular dynamics. The morphological and compositional changes that accompany sputtering are described. Ar projectiles (2 keV) are delivered sequentially at 10 ps intervals into a 2000 A ห2 region of the target, up to a nominal fl

In this paper we investigate the global asymptotic stability of the recursive , n s 0, 1, . . . , where โฃ, โค, โฅ G 0. We show that the unique positive equilibrium point of the equation is a global attractor with a basin that depends on the conditions posed on the coefficients.
