✦ Synopsis

The infrared spectrum of mphase InH in its ground electronic state ( 'C) has been observed using a diode laser spectrometer.

The wavenumber of transitions with J-values up to

27 were determined in the fundamental and hot-bands up to u= 54. In all, 83 transitions were measured with a nominal accuracy of kO.001 cm-'. These data have been used to obtain by far the most accurate values for the ground-state Dunham parameters available for InH. An improved value of r.= 1.8377630 (63) A has been determined.
