β¦ Synopsis
The i.r. spectra (4000-80 cm-') of the newly-reported complexes cisand trans-[Pt(pzhXr] (pz = pyrazine; X = Cl, Br, I, N02) are discussed. Assignments for internal l&and modes are based on the effects of ligand deuteration. Assignments of metal-l&and modes are based on the effects of halide substitution and pyrazine labelling~
