## Abstract Nineteen Mediterranean natural soils with a wide range of properties and the Organisation for Economic Coโoperation and Development (OECD) artificial soil were used to assess the influence of soil properties on the results of avoidance and reproduction tests carried out with the soil co

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
The influence of the elastic properties of the fibre on the profile of crack characteristics has been studied for an interface crack between the fibre and the matrix in the unit cell of a composite.
The representativity of the unit cell for the whole composite has been proofed by using the method of finite elements.

## Abstract In the present study, macroporous calcium phosphate cements (CPCs) were prepared using a porogen; that is, the gasโfoaming technique. The objective was to investigate the influence of the acidic component of the porogen (acetic acid __versus__ citric acid) on several properties of a spe
In all acrylic bone cement formulations in clinical use today, radiopacity is provided by micron-sized particles (typical mean diameter of between about 1 and 2 microm) of either BaSO(4) or ZrO(2). However, a number of research reports have highlighted the fact that these particles have deleterious
