✦ Synopsis
A theoretical expression has been derived for the dependence of the discharge capacity, C, of the positive plate of the lead-acid battery, on the temperature, T, in the form dlnC/dT = (k -l)(dlnK /dT + l/T),
where k is the coefficient of Peukert's equation and K is the specific conductivity of the electrolyte. This formula was confirmed by measurements on SLI battery positive plates.
