✦ Synopsis
The microstructural, permeability and basic mechanical properties of slag concretes made of neutral (CaO/Si02=l) and low alumina content (A1203=8.5%) slags were investigated. Alkali-activated slag concrete was studied by comparison with PC concrete and blended cement concrete. The reasons for the cracking tendency in the alkali activated slag concrete were discussed on the basis of microstructural studies.

## Abstract The objective of this work is to understand the effect of shear force on the properties of epoxy–clay nanocomposites. The shear force was controlled by changing the revolutions per minute on a mechanical mixer. Differences in the aspect ratio of clay layers and differences of clay parti
