## Abstract We outline the magnetic and magnetocaloric behaviour of magnetic nanoparticles distributed into columnar‐like arrangements with their easy axes collinear aligned along the chain direction, and comparing to that of ferromagnetic nanowires arrays. An extended Monte Carlo model taking into
