โฆ Synopsis
The hydration of quartz-tricalcium silicate mixtures at 175ยฐC has been studied. The samples, precured at 25ยฐC for different periods of time, in the range 0 -16 hours, have been autoclaved for 8 hours. Upon addition of quartz to the system water-tricalcium silicate, some remarkable modifications have been observed in a) the degree of hydration of the silicate, b) the type and the relative amounts of the products obtained, and c) the influence of the precuring period on the following autoclave hydration. E' stata studiata l'idratazione di miscele quarzo-silicato tricalcico a 175ยฐC. I campioni, prestagionati a 25ยฐC per tempi variabili compresi tra 0 et 16 ore, sono stati trattati in autoclave per 8 ore. Per aggiunta di quarzo al sistema acqua-silicato tricalcico sono state osservate alcune notevoli variazioni per quanto riguarda; a) il grado di idratazione del silicato; b) il tipo e le quantit~ relative dei prodotti ottenuti; c) l'influenza della durata della prestagionatura sulla successiva idratazione in autoclave.
