โฆ Synopsis
Using the quasi-compatible ยฎnite element method advanced by Zhichao and Lisu (1990), the inยฏuence of the size of a plate with double cracks on the stress intensity factor is studied. Many numerical computations are carried out and various data, curves and formulae are given. It is shown clearly how the stress intensity factors of double cracks are aected by the size of the cracked body.

A numerical algorithm is presented for the problem of a crack along the interface of an elastic inclusion embedded in an elastic plane subjected to uniform stress at inรฟnity. The algorithm is based on a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind and allows for fast and accurate solutions to geome
