✦ Synopsis
The purpose of this paper is to determine the influence of nailed /oints flexibilio, on moments of inertia of built-up timber elements subjected to combined bending and axial compression. The procedure in carrying out the tests and the test results are given. The method of determining real moments of inertia based on test results are described. Then the results, obtained in experhnental way, are compared with the results based on theoretical formulae derived by means of the theow of built-up elements.
