Softening experiments were performed with cold-rolled single crystals with initial orientations near ( 001), ( 111) and ( 123) and a drawn polycrystal. The change in microstructure and flow stress decrease caused by cyclic deformation (%= +\_1 x lO-:; N= 50) is investigated. The dislocation rearrang
