Objective: The pharmacokinetics of brofaromine, a selective inhibitor of monoamine oxidase A, was evaluated in 12 frail elderly patients (66 92 y) and 12 healthy volunteers (20-35 y). Methods': Quantitative liver function tests were performed to show whether brofaromine elimination in the elderly co

β¦ Synopsis
A clinical technique for sampling the spatial and temporal CSF at low, intermediate and high frequencies is described. Reductions in contrast sensitivity with age were shown with the highest spatial and temporal frequency stimuli. The reductions can be almost completely accounted for by the reduction of pupil area with age, causing a reduction in retinal illuminance. The results show a significant deterioration in vision with age that is not revealed by standard visual acuity testing.

## Abstract The spatial and temporal variability of atmospheric aerosols is not well understood, as most studies have been constrained to data sets that include few stations and are of short duration. Furthermore, all methods for quantifying atmospheric turbidity suffer from a major constraint in t
An exposition is presented of the application and scope of a new interpretation of the classical sensitivity function S~.~'(s) that is used to evaluate the e~ctiveness of the over-all feedback system T(s) in reducing sensitivity to parameter deviations in the plant P(s). It is shown that this interp
