โœฆ Synopsis


The incoherent inelastic neutron scattering (INS) spectrum of CHC13 in liquid SO2 (ambient temperature) in the region &3600 cm-' is presented. For the first time it has been demonstrated that good quality INS data on solutes can be obtained over this energy transfer range. A discussion of suitable solvents fbr further work is included.
