Overview: William Eleazer was born and raised in Springfield, Georgia, just twenty-seven miles from Savannah. He is an active member of the Florida Bar. His formal education includes degrees from Vanderbilt University (B.A), George Washington University (J.D) and Emory University (LL.M). He has served as a colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, law professor at Stetson University College of Law, criminal defense counsel, prosecutor, and military trial judge. He now works as a writer and editor of legal publications for trial lawyers. He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife, Jan.
