It's December in the City, and not a creature is stirring, not even a superhero. Actually, one hero is stirring - Kate Miller, the Dancer, is restless, patrolling the streets among holiday lights and snow. But when her closest teammate springs an unexpected gift on her, the Dancer is forced to do two things she never does: get into the holiday spirit, and ask for help from another Indestructible.

Meanwhile, Entropy Emily is determined to spread cheer by force if necessary...

"Gifted: An Indestructibles Christmas Story" is a "one-shot" short story in the tradition of single-issue comic book adventures. Taking place between the events of books 1 and 2 in the Indestructibles series, "Gifted" offers insight into the growing relationships between the young heroes during their first holiday season together.
