A series of 133 deaths in traffic in Western Norway has been analysed. There were 116 deaths from accidents, 14 natural deaths and 3 suicides. Ischemic heart disease was the predominant cause of natural death behind the wheel. Single vehicular accidents was the predominating accident type and young
