Zircon and apatite fission track ages were obtained on two granulite samples that were recovered from the sea floor in the ocean–continent transition area of the Galicia margin (North Atlantic) using the French submersible Nautile. Zircon ages indicate that the rocks cooled through about 250Β°C in Ca
