✦ Synopsis

his is not a book for the casual reader. Probably, it is not a T book for the moderately interested continuing medical education researcher. It is an annotated bibliography for the CME zealot, the fanatic program planner or researcher who is convinced that CME must make a difference and that any difference must be measurable.

The zealot needs assurance that he/she is aware of all articles published on CME and its impact. me Impact of GzllE satisfies that need for many articles published from 1935 through 1983, provided they have been logged in INDEX MEDICUS, ERIC o r other information retrieval systems. Three hundred and four articles are included in the annotated collection. The articles span 251 pages. None of them is paginated and the total number of articles is never mentioned.
