β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A regional climate model is used to investigate changes in Israel and Jordan precipitation at the end of the 21st century on daily to monthly timescales. The model predicts that this region will get significantly drier at the peak of the rainy season, reflecting a reduction in both the frequency and duration of rainy events. These changes may be associated with a reduction in the strength of the Mediterranean storm track. Copyright Β© 2009 Royal Meteorological Society

## Abstract Empirical statistical downscaling has been widely used to produce finerβresolution climate data. This approach, in general, is derived from an implicit stationarity assumption. This paper aims at proving a statistical method that is fully applicable of generating daily precipitation in
The effects of climate change on hydrological regimes over the coming century have become a priority area, both for process research and for water and catchment management strategies. ## Abstract The impact of future climate change on terrestrial ecosystem was projected by the atmosphericβvegetation interaction model (AVIM2) over China at four warmer levels of 1, 2, 3 and 4 Β°C. Future climate data were projected by regional climate model from the Hadley Centre under Special Repo
This study assessed the impacts of potential climate change on maize yields in China, using the CERES-Maize model under rainfed and irrigated conditions, based on 35 maize modeling sites in eastern China that characterize the main maize regions. The Chinese Weather Generator was developed to generat
