The Merging (Book 1)
Ian Dex fights fiendish ubernaturals, battles smoking hot mages, and can seduce a succubus in an instant. He's also the chief of the Las Vegas Paranormal Police Department (PPD)...where it's always crazy, completely unpredictable, and loaded with snark.
A new demon-powered mage has arrived on the Strip and he's quite a tool. Worse, he looks like a flippin' Chippendales model...and he knows it.
Ian Dex and his crew have to cut their way through a megalomaniac vampire, a lunatic werewolf, a seriously annoying fae, and a buttload of demons in order to take down Captain Hot Pants.
All in a day's pay...except that they work at night.
Grave Creatures (Book 2)
An old necromancer has been summoning the dead. His goal is to overrun the world, one city at a time. Too bad he started in Vegas.
With the horde of zombies heading in from the old cemeteries, Ian and his crew soon realize they can't handle this threat alone. They need the help of the Vegas community. The problem is how to convince the people to shoot at zombies while not letting them know they're actually shooting zombies!
To make matters worse, the Directors want the job done, his mages are being drained, and there's a succubus who's dying to play a game of no-no with him.
Okay, maybe that last bit isn't so bad.
But battling zombies begs the question: How exactly do you kill someone who's already dead?
Blood Bane Tower (Book 3)
A dragon has prepared a deathly surprise for the people living in the Overworld. She needs the soul of a wizard to unleash it, though.
Ian Dex and the crew of the Las Vegas PPD end up trapped in the Netherworld. Worse, there are three dragons who are intent on eating them. Even worse, they get separated.
Ian must traverse the nine levels of hell in order to get back to his team. Each level has its own set of rules that he must remember, and that's not easy when you have hungry dragons on your tail.
One thing's for sure, this hell is nothing like the one described in Dante's Divine Comedy.
It's far crazier.
Will Ian survive? Will the team get reunited? Will they be able to stop the main dragon before she unleashes her wrath on the Overworld?
London Growl (Book 4)
An uber werewolf has kidnapped Ian Dex's ex-partner, Rachel Cress. He's using her as bait to lure Ian across the pond. The goal is to challenge Ian to a battle. He wants to prove a werewolf is more powerful than an amalgamite.
Life sure has its moments.
In order to track down Rachel, Ian must team up with her current London PPD partner. The guy seriously idolizes James Bond. Worse, the cop Ian brought along from Vegas is Harvey, a werebear who fancies himself as being like Sherlock Holmes.
Again...life.
To save Rachel and stop the unleashing of werewolf hell on London, Ian has to go toe to toe with the biggest wolf he's ever seen. If he fails, the meager expanse between life and death may just open up and swallow them all.
The biggest battle of all, though will be keeping himself from strangling his new partners as they drive him to the brink of insanity!

The breathless first Paranormal Police novel pits a playboy police officer against a troubling threat. A routine call to contain a vampire goes sideways for the chief of Las Vegas Paranormal Police, Ian Dex, when a massive werewolf shows up. Soon, Dex's squad of mages, were-creatures, and other supernatural beings is barely escaping from a series of shockingly powerful enemies. The department's resources are strained as they scramble to figure out who is behind these confounding new attacks and attempt to keep nonsupernatural humans from learning about the existence of magic and mythical creatures. Dex's boundless libido stands in for a personality and sows frustration among his female colleagues, including the department's flirty artificial intelligence, but these conflicts and all character developments take a back seat to breakneck skirmish scenes. Light worldbuilding, however, does lay groundwork for sequels, including explanations of Dex's nature as a type of genetically modified supernatural creature known as an amalgamite. Readers looking for breezy action who don't mind frequently puerile jokes will enjoy this uncomplicated romp. (BookLife)
