The neutral stability criteria for the generalized case of flow due to circumferential pumping and rotation of the inner cylinder are reviewed. The neutral'stability is defined by the parameter, P, as used by BREWSTER el al. Heat transfer data taken from the literature have been recalculated. The parameter P is found to be useful in correlating the data. Hierbei erweist sich der Parameter P als zweckmiissig, urn die Daten zu korrelieren.
