Tests of four different beta ratio orifice flowmeters in a 1 O0 mm (4 inch) meter tube and two 100 mm turbine flowmeters were run in nitrogen gas at 4 MPa (580 Ib in -2abs) at pipe Reynolds numbers ranging from 0.4 to 1.6 x 10 6. Different levels of swirl were generated and the change in the dischar
