Noelle is tired of her family and coworkers butting into her love life or lack thereof. For once she’d like to go to her family dinner and company party, and not have to answer why she has no one special. So, when she sees one of those funny Holiday Boyfriend Specials posted on social media, instead of scrolling by she decides to see if he’d seriously consider a real offer. Jake’s family won’t get off his back about his lack of girlfriend every holiday. His mother wants to see him happy and wants some grandchildren before she gets too old. So, when he gets a message from a beautiful woman after his online joke, he decides to give it a shot, if it’ll keep his mom quiet for another year. Little did they know that their attraction would be hot enough to light the North Star. But coming from two different worlds could threaten their budding connection, and stop in its tracks what had started out as a joke but turned into something real.
