Lady Adeline was married off to the Baron of Dunrade when she was a teenager. A Grieving Soldier
Alexander McRade is the son of the late Baron of McRurie, but was not able to claim his inheritance due to his grieving drunkenness after the death of his beloved wife. While lying wounded on the battlefield, he has a vision of his beloved Brenna, who tells him it is not his time yet. Rescued by the dark haired baroness, he quickly finds that she is in danger.
