The high-resolution spectrum of chloroacetylene has been recorded in the region 20-1850 (\mathrm{cm}^{-1}). Over 10000 vibration-rotation lines associated with the low-wavenumber modes have been assigned and used to derive rotational constants, bandcenters, and vibration-rotation constants for ({ }^{33} \mathrm{ClC} \equiv \mathrm{CH}) and ({ }^{37} \mathrm{ClC} \equiv \mathrm{CH}). Spectra due to ({ }^{35} \mathrm{Cl}{ }^{13} \mathrm{C} \equiv \mathrm{CH}) and ({ }^{35} \mathrm{ClC} \equiv{ }^{13} \mathrm{CH}) in natural abundance have also been assigned. C 1994 Academic Press.
