Explicit Bounds for Residues of Dedekind
✍ Stéphane Louboutin 📂 Article 📅 2000 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 168 KB

We give explicit upper bounds for residues at s=1 of Dedekind zeta functions of number fields, for |L(1, /)| for nontrivial primitive characters / on ray class groups, and for relative class numbers of CM fields. We also give explicit lower bounds for relative class numbers of CM fields (which do no

Boundedness of minimax series from value
✍ Francisco Pérez Acosta 📂 Article 📅 1997 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 225 KB

In this paper some boundedness of the minimax series of a certain function f involving numerical values of the function and its derivative are obtained. Such results are obtained by using the Bernstein polynomials.

Roothaan-Hartree-Fock (RHF) calculations have been carried out for the ground states of the atoms from helium to krypton using certain exponential-type functions, the Ꮾ functions. We report a compilation of single-and double-zeta (SZ and DZ) wave functions. A comparison with the conventional SZ and
