โฆ Synopsis
The heat capacity of MosSnGaxS6 was measured in the temperature range from 2 K to 25K with x= 0.0, 0.18, 0.22, and 0.25. Independent of the x-value a peak appears in the phonon spectrum of all investigated compounds at low frequencies. Similar to the increase of T with the Ga concentration, a rise of the ~, coefficient of the electronic heat capacity was observed, probably as a consequence of both the increase of the electronphonon interaction parameter and the density of states at the Fermi level.

The heat capacity of molybdenum chalcogenides with different Sn/ Ga content was measured at temperatures of T <-60 K. The occurrence of two phases of the chalcogenides studied could clearly be seen for higher Ga concentrations. In the miscibility gap there coexists a superconducting phase (Tr = 12.5
