About the Author

Eric C. Smith was born in 1968 in central Michigan but spent his teen years in Florida. After some time in the U.S. Marine Corps, he traveled extensively, including places such as Russia, Israel, Italy, and forty-nine of the fifty United States. Mr. Smith returned home to work with his father building prototype machinery. Lacking an affinity for engineering, he pursued an education in the areas of theology and philosophy. He has worked numerous jobs from construction to teaching. Drawing from all these experiences, Mr. Smith decided to turn his attention to writing. He now lives in Florida with his wife Jennifer and their four sons.
