โœฆ Synopsis

C AD Centre scene

The Hague Centre

To bring the full range of facilities and services closer to continental clients, the CADC have opened their first continental office. Situated in The Hague, the office has been opcned in association with Atkins Time Sharing B.V. with whom the accommodation is shared.

The expansion into Holland is CAI)C's first venture in establishing overseas offices and The Hague was chosen as the first site because of the extremely good communications by road, rail and air, in addition to data communications, with Europe and the rest of the world.

Equipmcnt available at The Hague include teletypes and a Tektronix T4010 storage tube. These are available now for documentation usage, but towards the end of 1975 they will be able to communicate with the UK network (see CAD Centre scene, July 1974) and thus make available, for the first time on the continent, all the resources of this fast-developing system.

The officc provides an outlet for marketing software and consultancy services in the Benelux countries, West Germany, Switzerland and Austria; lecture and conference facilities are also available.
